About Sande Web Design

Sande Web Design is owned and operated by Sande Wetmore. Sande first learned how to hand-code web sites in HTML back in 1997. At the time, Sande was working at Parke-Davis Pharmaceutical Research & Development in Ann Arbor (n/k/a Pfizer) as the executive assistant to the vice president of finance and the Ann Arbor site was implementing their first Intranet. Sande volunteered to learn HTML and she created and implemented the department's first web site. She continued her studies, taking college credit classes for web site design and development, and then earned certification as a CIW Associate in May 2002. She continues to update her skills in such areas as design and typography principles, web usability, web server administration, information architecture, CSS, and Flash.

In addition to her technical and design skills, Sande has great organization skills which she honed during her ten years as an administrative professional at Parke-Davis. She also has advanced skills with the Microsoft suite of office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, FrontPage) and can create customized presentations for small to large businesses. She also has an excellent understanding of the English language and possesses top notch grammar, spelling, punctuation, and writing skills.

Sande combines her natural artistic abilities, creative problem solving and organization skills with her broad understanding of corporate business, the Internet and her passion for web design when creating solutions for her clients. Sande takes the time to know the client and the client's business so she can create a web site that best suits the client's needs, "personality", and budget. Her web designs are user-friendly, polished, professional and generate positive user feedback.
